Franklin Police and Fire High School is no ordinary high school. Franklin is a smaller school that consists in about 200 students in which every student has to apply and pass a interview to get in, there is no cost to get in its a free public high school. At Franklin every staff member and every student are so caring and they all want you to succeed. They really care about your future! To back up my claim they do mandatory tutoring for all the students that have any grade lower than a C. In addition, although Franklin is a small school they do a lot of things regular high schools would do. For example, pep rally's still occur (even if we have no sports students can do them at their home high schools and Franklin still recognizes every athlete), spirit weeks still happen because we do wear uniforms but I would say that's a win, and we do have amazing clubs. Overall I would totally recommend Franklin Police and Fire High School it's no regular high school its even better.

When you have to fill out an application in order to attend a high school you know there must be something special there. Our school motto was to be "Respectful, Accountable, & Responsible" and surely this proved to be true. Our school being known as a Police and Fire High school had instructors straight from the field ready to prepare for your chosen path. The teachers were more than supportive and genuinely wanted to see you succeed. I recall struggling in Math and my teacher made himself available before school, after, and during lunch hours. The school also provided after hours programs where you'd be able to tag along with the Fire Dept. or Police Dept. to learn about your chosen career field. However, pick any path and your teachers will help set you up for success. The only area of improvement would be the lack of sports. Although none provided on campus, you’re welcome to attend a neighboring school's sports program. This school will always be A± in my book for many reasons!
I’ve been here since freshmen year and I absolutely love it. It’s small, friendly and welcoming to everyone. You will be greeted upon arrival and you will feel welcomed. It is very strict school, but it’s a good thing when you want to stay on track. There is some flexibility and fun is also incorporated into your high school experience. It is different than a regular high school. If you’re up for a change you will enjoy it!
