Franklin High School Reviews
Rating 3.84 out of 5 381 reviews
I love the academic rigor here at Franklin High School, and their community of staff and students. The clubs are my favorite because people, advisors and students alike, are really into what they do. The wide variety of clubs make me want to do all of them! I also love how the school takes to consideration the wants and needs of their students so that change happens. Recently, necessary products are provided in the bathrooms throughout the school because of the request from a few students. The fact that this request was implemented shows their openness to address problems.
Franklin is a new school, and is built with many amenities that other high schools might not have. In terms of teachers and academics, Franklin does a good job in supporting its students with extra practice and opportunities for improvement. There are several extra-curricular clubs and activities for all types of interests.
One of Franklin's biggest struggles is its administration's inability and unwillingness to put a stop to discriminatory transgressions within the school. Recently, Franklin was put under fire for vandalism, hate symbols, homophobic policies, and several other incidents which did not reflect the welcoming nature of its core values. Many students, myself included, feel that the administration has not made an effective effort to put a stop to these actions or support students affected.

Honest review. FHS is great academically and a modern facility. It invests alot into its programs (sports, theater, music etc). The students here want for nothing resource-wise. However, it lack diversity and is not very accepting of those "outside the bubble". Meaning non-white, christian, sports enthusiasts or supporters. Unfortunately, some (not all) administrators set this example, and the student body follows suit.
