Athletics and fitness opportunities are provided and easy to join. You can join the team and no tryouts are required for any of the girl sports. It is a great environment and a great way to gain friends and bond. Great sportsmanship and focused on having fun more than winning. School spirit during spirit week is very high but during games not so much. Bleachers have lots of room and all are encouraged to watch! Our boys basketball team is great and always fun to watch as well as girls basketball, volleyball, soccer, and tennis.

Over all the general interactions among students and students, students and teachers is great. However there are various administration issues which need to be dealt with. Apart from those the school functions very well and there are multiple opportunity for students to learn new things as well as build relationships with new people.
The teachers at FJA are some of the friendliest people I have ever meet. It is great having people who care about you and others and have a passion for what they teach. The teachers are all very friendly which creates a positive learning environment as the teachers don't assume complete control and exert their "power" over the students, rather they create a relaxed yet productive environment.
