My experience at Frank W. Springstead High School was very eventful. With a diverse atmosphere, I was better prepared not only for my college life, but for my future career. One thing that I will praise about this school is it's caring teachers. Throughout my high school years, I have had teachers that are not just there to just teach a subject and leave. The teachers there care about students and are willing to put forth the extra time to make sure a students goes home with a better understanding of the lesson. The AP program was in my opinion very successful and helped me earn college credit while I was in high school! I would definitely recommend Springstead High School for it's challenging academics and encouraged diversity.

I never thought I would be the person to cry when it comes to high school graduation, but being a few months away from it I've already cried at the prospect of it. While high school is not how they actually portray it in the movies folks, I still felt like I was part of a community at Springstead. Most of the teachers really do care about their students, and are passionate about their jobs. There are constantly ways to get involved with the school, and the school spirit is highly compatible. The only thing is that, being that the school is about 40 years old, it faces some pest issues and is just starting renovations around the school. Also, the Guidance Office would easily become backed up, and sometimes you won't get answers for at most two weeks; however, I am still proud to call myself an Eagle and hope other future Eagles enjoy their time as much as I know my graduating class did!
GO CLASS OF 2018 & GO EAGLES
The curriculum is fine. The food is terrible, I often choose to not eat lunch because it's better than trying to force the food down. I've seen ants and cockroaches everywhere in the school. Most kids are too preoccupied with juuling or vaping to care about homework. The wall built in front of the school (nowhere else, just the front) is an eyesore and will not help us if there is an active shooter. The dress code is ridiculous, apparently a bare shoulder or ripped jeans will turn off the brains of everybody looking at it and prevent any work from getting done. Classes are spread out so it is difficult to get from one class to another on time. The school is overcrowded.
