I love my school. It is like one big family. They make learning enjoyable. The experiences outside the classroom are amazing and are memories and lessons that I will take with me for the rest of my life.
I absolutely loved my time at Wardlaw. It became my second family and my home away from home. I was able to compete for five State Championships. i learned how to push myself as an athlete as well as a student.
I love how they love your child like their own and offer many opportunities to prepare your child for the rest of their life.
Wardlaw truly has a family atmosphere. The teachers knew my children not just from an academic standpoint, but made it a point to get to know their interest, their hopes and their dreams. They celebrated milestones with them, walked through hard times with them. The truly minister to the whole child.
Wardlaw is a wonderful caring place and the people are very helpful. I was at another school for 8 years. My parents tried to get extra help for me since I have ADD/ADHD . No one helped me or did the things the doctors suggested. Finally I changed schools, they instantly had extra help for me. I had a tutor for each class and was given private time for testing. I was encouraged to take college prep classes and I know if they had not been so caring I would probably not be going to college now. I would like to add a special thank you to all the teachers that made it possible.
Wardlaw Academy has progressed tremendously in the past few years. My oldest child is a Freshman and has been at Wardlaw since kindergarten and overall I have been pleased with all aspects of the school. We have wonderful teachers who truly care about the students. My youngest child is in the 4th grade, and I look forward to her being at Wardlaw for the next 8 years!
An extended family - it truly does take a village to raise children and Wardlaw provides that family atmosphere. My children are academically challenged by their classes. We love the opportunities for them to participate in various sporting activities, many life lessons are learned on the field.
Family atmosphere. Our children are learning so much about not only school work but family, God, teamwork and relationships. We love how the teachers truly act like they enjoy their jobs and we are kept informed about what’s going on. We feel like our children are ahead in their studies.
This school has been a God send for our family! We cannot recommend this school more highly. The teachers and staff are always going above and beyond to help the children and make this school a Blessing to all the families involved. The teachers and staff are all there because they genuinely love the school and kids and want to make a difference in their lives. My child is receiving a quality education while also being taught life lessons in a Christian environment. You will not be disappointed if you visit this school.
Our family loves Wardlaw! The small classes and fun learning atmosphere is a favorite of my daughter's. My husband and I love that she is being challenged and has a good time learning. Wardlaw feels like home. We felt like family from day one.
Wardlaw Academy helped to shape and mold me into who I am today. This school has change my life forever as it is open doors for me that would never been possible without me attending high school here. I am forever grateful for the friendships the memories the teachers holding me accountable as well as the teachers helping me get to where I am today with a 4.0 GPA by believing in me and encouraging me.
My experience at Wardlaw has been good. The teachers really care about you and want you to do your best in everything. The sports are very good and the coaches love and care about you. They don’t force God down your throat but they do teach it and try to put it in every subject. One thing wardlaw needs to work on is their rescources as well as teachers teaching through hands on things.
Starting at four years old my parents have sent me to Francis Hugh Wardlaw Academy. My father wanted the best for me even though they had to sacrifice a lot to keep me here. Throughout my 14 years at Wardlaw I've made friends who I would now consider family. I met the love of my life and hopefully my wife one day. I came to know God through a constant support basis at the school even when my faith didn't seem to exist. And last but not least I've learned how to excel in not only my academic endeavors, but also how to survive this out of control roller coaster we call life. I would personally say that Wardlaw academy is one of the best choices my family ever made for me. It's shaped me into who I am today and who I am to become later in life, a hardworking, creative, intelligent, loving, Christian man. I might be moving on to bigger and better things in my life next year, but at heart I will always be a Patriot
Wardlaw Academy has been my home for four years. This is a great school for students and parents that want a family atmosphere. The class sizes are very small but I believe this adds a positive to the school. Teachers and faculty are able to know students very well. Everyone just wants to help the students grow into the best Christian and person they can be!
The clubs at this school do not require much commitment, it's pretty laid back. There are plenty of options for those that do not play sports.
Many people make this school feel like home, but others show a lot of favoritism towards the wealthier crowd.
Some of the teachers are highly qualified and intelligent, but others did not even minor in what they teach now in college.
