There are a ton of clubs at Fox Chapel! There is an entire week dedicated to learning more about clubs during lunches. People who join clubs are usually very committed and do whatever they need to do. The most popular club at Fox Chapel is FBLA, Future Business Leaders of America. In this club, you take a test on a certain subject and how you place in your region determines if you go to states. From states you go to nationals. This year it is in Tennessee! The teachers are very supportive about clubs and after school programs. They would do anything for us students.
Review Fox Chapel Area High School
I love going to Fox Chapel. I'm given so many opportunities and chances to become whatever I chose to be. There are so many classes offered, extracurricular activities, etc. One of my favorite experiences at Fox Chapel would be the annual charity telethon. Each year we host a week of fun activities and events that benefit a new charity each year. some of the activities include pictures with Santa, a fashion show, a teacher vs. student basketball game, a live animal show, and a beautiful showing of our schools busking club which is full of talented singers and musicians. This year we raised over $68,000! It shows how much good a group of people can do when they come together and support a great cause.
Most of the teachers were very helpful, even after graduation. The school itself was under construction during my senior year, but upon returning to see the remodeling it looks amazing. I felt as though I was very prepared for college when I graduated. There are a lot of unique elective courses that you can take in order to explore different subjects you may be more interested in which will help when choosing a major for college.
