I liked that they are focused on getting all students into a college, internship, and career after they graduate High School. They have also seen a large increase in students graduating. I think they should focus more money on broadening their extra-curriculars.

Of course it depends on which teacher(s) you have. As a whole, they are knowledgeable on their subjects and assign actual work rather than busy work, but it seems difficult for them to find the balance between respecting their students and controlling them. Most of them are either iron-fisted or too lax in discipline, and neither of those are good for learning environments.

Then there are the teachers who are outliers: they either don't teach, and spend the period discussing mundane things, or they constantly pile on work, insisting that it's only an hour's worth and neglecting that other teachers also assign an hour's worth, not to mention that many students are involved in time-consuming sports, and also need time to sleep, eat, and socialize. In other words, they are not very understanding.
Fountain Lake High School is an amazing school. Becoming a charter school in 2015, when I started here, has really increased the opportunities students can get for their futures. They offer courses that would not be at a regular high schools. Students can take courses at the local community college to earn credits and experience for college. The teachers are great, they help students further their education, care about the grades we receive, and encourage us to pursue our futures. I've had a wonderful experience at Fountain Lake.
