We have a large amount of military kids who come in every year, and as long as they somewhat make an effort at conversation they're guaranteed to have friends within a couple weeks. There may be some rude or overly aggressive students, but you'll find that at every school. We have a very diverse group of students, so everyone no matter how odd someone may seem (given that they don't have too controversial of a mindset) has a niche. The teachers are helpful and engaging (given that you get a good one); and on multiple occasions, I've confided in a teacher before a friend, parent, or counselor. The food is pretty good! There are some days where the nuggets are like stones, but otherwise there's nothing to complain about. Funding varies between the numerous sports, clubs, and activities the school offers, but each one always manages a fundraiser. I've learned alot academically as it even offers dual-enrollment classes and I've grown alot as a person because of this school.

This school has been an overall great experience for me. I am an incoming senior and have been going here since my freshman year and in the district since my 5th grade year. I think they have great opportunities for advanced classes and several options for different levels of learning. The social environment is pretty good, we have a pretty diverse population with several clubs and activities to represent different groups of people. There are several fun events to attend in the fall and spring such as football games and different school dances so we stay entertained. I appreciate that they give us a laptop for school work so I didnt have to buy one. They also have a variety of sports and musical classes/ clubs to represent many different interests. My only complaint is that they dont have lockers so my shoulders and back are in pain a lot from carrying a backpack around. But overall a great experience.
What I like about Fountain Fort Carson is that its very diverse and since were a military school you can make friends from different places because they come from all around the world. Another thing about this school is that the memories that you make here are everlasting not just because its high school and we leave soon but the teachers and students you meet are very inspiring and very different in so many ways that make you remember them, even if its for there smiling, bursting personality, or even the jokes they tell that make everyone around them laugh endlessly.
