FALV is a safe school that offers a rigorous classical education. Other charters say they offer a classical education, but FALV actually follows through. Goal is to marry a classical education with also following state testing. Due to the building of the new campus, we were limited in school activities for the 2017/18 school year. School administration went through changes so communication took some time to work itself out. What goes on in the the classroom is what is most important & this school is dialed! The 2018/19 school year has been great. Lots more events & everyone is continuing to improve communication. We have attended Founders since 2014. Our sons started in Kinder & will continue through 12th & will hopefully receive the advanced Founders diploma.

Founders Academy of Las Vegas is a wonderful classic school founded by Hillsdale College. At Founders Academy we read classical books and the Founders of America. The staff are wonderful! The staff knows each kid personally and always wants to help students improve. The homework level is decent enough for each grade and gets the students to think outside the box. Our school is very good at getting our students involved in both school and outside activities. Some of the wonderful activities put on by our school this year has been ice skating, dances, and spell-a-thon. In the previous years, our school has done a fun run and the cone game.
Founders Academy is a small community school located in the middle of Las Vegas, I attended for two full school years. I would not recommend others to attend Founders if they do not wish to pursue a classical education. At Founders Academy the teachers and students are not very generous. The teachers racially profile people of color and antagonize them to get into trouble. There is a lot of gossip in which the students and teachers participate in. When there is bullying, the teachers are aware of if but choose whenever to make forth action. The only mediocre thing about Founders is the classrooms. Since the school is so small there are not many classmates. Having only a small amount of students placed into each classroom is beneficial because students get more one on one interaction with the teacher. If I had the option I would not return back to Founders Academy.
