my daughter has struggled with math and science classes but every year the teachers have made themselves available for her to stay late or come early for extra help. Her 6th grade teacher team has been together for 15 years and they work very well together. Students are challenged but encouraged and because the teachers work together they can plan out big projects through out the year, so the science teacher doesn’t schedule a time consuming project with the ELA teacher has a big research project. Instead they stagger them through the calendar so the student can develop a steady study habit and carry that through the school year. It keeps them from being overwhelmed with tons to complete in a short time then nothing big for a while. This is my 3rd student at this school and all 3 have had wonderful experiences.

they administration has been amazing. This school has about 1500 kids in it, yet none of my kids have felt like a number. all they teachers/principals have known them by name as they run into them in the community not just in the classroom. That takes effort with this many kids.
The local police dept has two officers on site on all school days and all faculty is trained on emergency measures. Starting next year all students will be CPR certified by the end of the school year. Health and Safety are high priorities at this school
