We are a military family, and had 2 children attend FRMS. 1 child attended her 7th-8th grade years, and our other child attended his 6th - 8th years. They attended from 2009 - 2011 before the new school was built. At that time the administration was very hard to work with, and made parent relations quite difficult. I also did not like the way they assigned kids seats during their lunch time and would not allow talking or interaction with their peers. The kids were not given any real free time during lunch to walk around or interact. They had to sit at the lunch tables from start to finish and would get in trouble if they talked. I found this practice to be very prison-like. Academically the children did well and liked their teachers, but I found the amount of homework that was assigned was excessive and over the top.
