My experience at Fort Mill High School was amazing! Their fine arts programs are definitely one of the best out there! Fort Mill introduced me to a wonderful band program and helped me progress in my desired music career. The STEM courses offered at Fort Mill are also incredible. The teachers are very involved with their students, and I have learned so much from every administrator and teacher at Fort Mill. My time at Fort Mill will be cherished and remembered forever. They have helped me become who I am today and I am proud of that person! Thank you, Fort Mill! Go yellow jackets!
Fort Mill High School has amazing teachers who really care about their students. Although Fort Mill is pretty big, everyone can still find many groups of people who they can rely on. There is nothing like Friday nights at Fort Mill where so many students come out to support the football team. Spirit week at fort mill is also so much fun, and something that we will never forget!
Looking at the school statistically, it's a great school. However, as a student, there are things I would like to see in its improvement. Students are pressured a tremendous amount at Fort Mill High. Teachers overwork their students and are rather strict with the school, who for the most part are well-behaving students. Many of the students are overwhelmed, drained, and stressed an abnormal amount. A portion suffer from mental health issues like depression, anxiety, and ADHD. However, mental health is not advocated for the students. They are adamant in encouraging sports and academics. As a high-academically achieving student, I see they don't give nearly as much support to the visual/vocal arts as they do with academics or even the athletics.
