Fort Hill has a great football program, but that really is it. A lot of money is poured into the football program, neglecting academics resources and other sport/club groups. Many teachers that are hired are affiliates of the football program and are truly not qualified to be teaching a course. Academics and college preparation should be a bigger emphasis.

Throughout my 4 years at Fort Hill, many things around school have been broken and never fixed. Mostly, parts of the bathroom. We rarely had soap, and only one door per bathroom had a lock. However, all of the teachers I encountered here showed real care and interest in their students.
I graduated from Fort Hill Highschool in 2017, I was meant to go to Allegany highschool but moved into the fort hill district and I am glad I did. The teachers at the school care a lot and want you to succeed, at least from my personal experience in the advanced classes. The sports are no joke either Fort Hill always have parents and teachers involved in these programs to make sure students get the most out of it. Playing tennis for Fort Hill was a lot of fun.
