I have had a great experience with Forsyth High School. I am glad the teachers are willing to help any student understand something they do not. The school is also stricter about homework and grades than other high schools in the same area. There seems to be very little funding to the school though, as it has to rely on a nearby church for sponsorship. All clubs have to be paid for by the members and sponsor (teacher). I'm not very happy that there are limited classes. There is only one foreign language class, there are only two English electives (4 core English classes), and two math electives. In conclusion, Forsyth High School is not terrible, but it is not great either.
With growing up in a small school like Forsyth it allows the students to grow into a family like structure. Which then allows us to be very understanding when people decide to do something new or weird. With a family like structure we have it also allows us to come together when something traumatic happens to the community around us. For example when one of our fellow students unexpectedly passed away. The school came together to help each other threw the grieving process and it also allowed us to help the family of that kid with their funeral bills. It is defiantly something that all of the students will never forget about.
