Forest Park is a great highschool to go to if you plan on entering the STEM field. They have a excellent information technology program that prepares students for the iT field! They offer the basics and college level courses. They also have sub program for graphic design and networking! The environment is really nice, not too much drama. The teachers have a sense of humor and will do anything for their students.

Forest Park High School is located in Woodbridge, Virginia. It is an excellent high school. Forest Park provides many academic choices from advance placement classes to standard classes. There are various options for World Languages, from Spanish to French, German and other languages. Forest Park has an Information Technology (IT) Program and Army JROTC. There are a variety of choices for sports to include: baseball, basketball, footfall, track and field, lacrosse, track and field, soccer and others. The school also provides opportunities for band and choir. The school is diverse. The food is excellent. Teachers, administrators, and all staff really care about the success and safety of students.
Forest Park is a school with encouraging staff, and teachers with nuanced ideas of learning. The teachers form a great connection with their students and are incredible at getting them engaged. Not a single teacher I have had at Forest Park has yet to make a lasting impression, their lessons are both challenging, and interactive. The counseling staff is also very supportive, they are very helpful in advising students on things like planning for their future and college. The students do not always reflect the enthusiasm their teachers provide them, however. Many students engage in distracting, and often destructive behaviors. However, these students are a loud minority, as a vast majority of students display an awesome level of commitment to their education. Students engaged in more challenging classes are respectful. I recommend Forest Park to any student serious about their education and encourage them to take challenging classes and connect with their peers and teachers.
