Forest Park High School Reviews
Rating 3.36 out of 5 245 reviews
My experience at Forest Park High School has been decent overall. Due to its location, it is an ethnically diverse school full of students and staff with many different backgrounds and beliefs. The majority of students and faculty at this school identify as people of color. This student offers a multitude of clubs, resources, and events for students to indulge in. There are frequent assemblies to celebrate different cultures and academic achievements in the school. Most teachers are kind and intelligent. They try their best to keep students engaged in the classroom. Teachers and staff are supportive and uplifting.
Of course, like many schools, this one has its downsides, but the main downsides here are because of the people within this school. Bullying and inappropriate behavior are clear issues within this school. Violence and threats are as well, which is why police patrol the area often.

This school deserves a bit more credit than it already has. It may get tons of backlash due to the students, but overall it is a flawless. There are great teachers here who seem to care about a student's education. Although there are curriculums that can be added such as more programs that interest the students. There are plenty of clubs, for example: Earth Tomorrow and Stem Club, these clubs I am currently in. I'd say they keep the school lively, growing plants in the gardens and plenty of field trips. Last year, we attended the Georgia Aquarium and learned more about aquatic life, it was really enjoyable, especially since all my friends were there. So much to be said about this school, I can go on for hours about the educational system and what we eat. But what I mainly want to talk about is the experience so far. High school has been expressed to me because of tv shows, and so an expectation was set. That expectation I so called had has been complete because it's really nice here.
It was the best. We have counselors and teachers that really want to see you make it. They do their best starting from day one to make sure that you stay on task to complete high school. Forest Park High School is a great place to attend school and is one big happy family. The administration makes sure that the school is a safe place, they put emphasis on education and they display it by being visible and building relationships with the students. They all have open door policies where we are able to go present ideas and issues we may be having within the school. The administration, counselors, and teachers really make you want to attend school each and everyday. This was the best high school experience I could have asked for.
