Its a good school that teaches from a Christian perspective. It has a pretty small high school. (Around 200 kids) Easy to get to know people. Most students are kind and friendly. Easy to get involved in activities different projects going on throughout the year. However, not many out of school clubs.
Good chapels with a variety of different speakers. Not difficult to join most sports because of the amount of students. Have some good AP/ Honors classes. Very little if not any drug, alcohol, fighting, sex culture or influences. There is a dress code but its not horrible. (See handbook on FLCS website) Not a large campus at all and fairly easy to find things. Busses available to multiple locations in grass valley, auburn, and roseville. I would recommend.

I have had the opportunity to attend Forest Lake Christian School starting from Kindergarten. With the small number of students and staff, going to school feels more like going home to your family. It is so easy to connect with students and faculty. Having a Christian foundation at school sets a common ground for everybody to rely on. I am truly so blessed to have grown up in such a tight knit school.
Forest Lake is a great place for a quality Christ-centered education. I attended FLCS since 7th grade and sure it has its ups and downs, but is still overall consistent in all things.
