To say I liked Fordson would be an understatement, I loved Fordson! Fordson taught me how to interact with all kinds of people, considering we were a school with such a diverse community. I loved how Fordson helped me overcome my shyness and helped me grow as a person. It taught me how much potential I had. Even though Fordson's environment was so united I just that in upcoming years they bring the different grade levels together more often.
There were many things that I liked about Fordson High School, other than the good food and fun clubs, what I really liked the most about Fordson were the teachers! Throughout the year you begin to build a personal relationship with staff that is just amazing. There comes a special point in your high school years when a teacher isn’t just a teacher anymore, but a mentor, a friend. Your teachers become closer to you then your own friends and that’s what makes a learning environment feel so welcome. My instructors were the reason I enjoyed my time at Fordson, not the food nor clubs. The Fordson staff is certainly a group of people I will never forget.
As a student who went to Fordson High School for all four of her high school years, the thing I enjoyed most about being at Fordson was the diversity and the comfort I received from my peers and teachers. The people at Fordson, whether they were my friends or teachers, helped guide me through my educational program. The one thing I hope can change is the lacking focus on mental health. Mental health should be focused on because many students tend to feel stressed and this causes them to have a lack motivation for their schoolwork.
