I liked the reputation and overall academic prowess that Fordham Prep has to offer, and I love the widespread influence of the Prep, given that it has students from all across the tri-state area. However, the racial and ethnic diversity is not very strong, and I believe that many of the teachers are not very good, yet the Prep fails to act towards removing them. However, in terms of education, connections, and overall Jesuit foundation, I would say that Fordham is a very great school!

Fordham Prep is a great place to prepare for college. There, one will acquire the skills he needs for the real world. Fordham gives you the opportunity to participate in amazing activities such as clubs or sports. The teachers are amazing! You will also find yourself creating very strong bonds with others that will last a lifetime.
Throughout my four years at Fordham Preparatory School, I've enjoyed their extensive leadership opportunities. For example, I served as co-chair of the school's annual Thanksgiving canned-food drive. In the month of November I coordinated deliveries to five local food banks, directed our sub-committees to create elaborate flyers to raise awareness, instructed teachers to incentivize students, and rallied our student body toward a record-shattering 41,532 canned-food items. This far exceeds our previous school record of 34,000.

If I could change one thing about Fordham Prep, I would want to make the school feel more like a home. Since my freshman year, our school has had three different principals. With each of these administration changes, the school has become more strict toward student's freedoms. For example, in my freshman year, seniors were allowed to dress up on Halloween. The little things like such can make the learning environment more enjoyable.
