I love the whole environment of this school. It is small, having on average 25 to a class. But in the end, all teachers offer one on one help to students. Strong relationships are build and respect is shown through students and staff. I would like to change rules such as dress code. Dress code rules are very strict and in my opinion sexist.

I would have been better prepared for college if I had to write more papers in school, and give more presentations in front of an audience.

Forbes Road is a very small school. I think that going to a small school really benefited me because I was not just a number. All of my teachers knew me and cared about my success. You could also be involved in numerous clubs and sports and it did not affect academics and the teachers really worked with you so you would not get behind.

Teachers here make the classes interesting to students. Workload is rarely too much, unless taking AP classes. The scheduling process can be a bit stressful for those with bad grades or state test scores. Many early college courses are available online through the Allegany College of Maryland, as well as other classes.

While the security measures are rather average, there has never been a situation that caused a need for extensive security measures that faculty and administration couldn't handle on their own.

Forbes offers numerous options for sports, and also has numerous other groups and clubs for students to join, including FFA, FBLA, FCCLA, Chorus, Band, and Drama Club.

The parents in this school care not only for their own students, but for the others students, as well. Many are long time teachers and school board members.

The teaching styles of educators here is impeccable. It creates a very nurturing, eye opening, and interesting learning environment for students. I, personally, made friends with many of the teachers I met here. They were my biggest supporters through many struggles, and helped me to step out of my comfort zone and discover talents I never knew I had, and did the same for countless other students.

We do not have anything but security cameras and sign in sheets for security.

All the activities have to happen during school.

This school allows too much drama to occur.

It could have a better variety. More healthy foods.

Band, chorus, drama club, sadd, sports.

Kids get bullied at this school and the faculty and staff don't seem to do much about it. They say they do, but they don't do enough. I was bullied and nothing was done about it.

I enjoyed band and chorus while attending.
