I am currently attending Foothill High School as a senior. So far, I have had a very good experience at Foothill High School. The school is definitely one of the top schools in the Tustin/Orange/Santa Ana area. I have had a mostly positive experience with my academics. I take mostly honors and AP classes; I feel like most of my teachers (with one or two exceptions) genuinely care about students' performance both in class and on the AP test. However, advanced classes are not easy and require large amounts of studying and homework to succeed. Additionally, the school excels in sports and the arts. I am a part of the choir program, which has provided me with many musical opportunities such as festivals and concerts. Overall, my academic experience at Foothill has been stellar!

Wow! Attending Foothill High might feel like attending a college. You'll be surrounded by a large group of students (over 500 per class) and have more options for activities and clubs to join, which can be exciting.
I have attended Foothill high school all four years of high school. As a freshman, the teachers were very welcoming and kind. They made us feel a part of the school and the administration made it very clear what clubs and organizations we can pick a part. Unfortunately they paid less attention to us a sophomores juniors antiques. By senior year it almost felt as though the teachers and staff gave up on us while most of my teachers were great, my senior teachers are lazy and on organized. Since we have already submitted our college applications, they seem to have given up on their jobs. Even though colleges don’t usually check second semester senior year grades, it would be nice to actually learn. My favorite teacher at foothill is my AP STATS teacher because she puts a large amount of effort in every single day. No matter how bad of a day she’s having, she makes us feel loved and important. Overall, foothill teachers are outstanding when they try their best.
