I’m a class of 2021 Junior at Fontbonne, and I think it’s really a great school for me to be at. I’ve had a lot of trouble connecting with people at my other schools, but Fontbonne has a lot of really unique students that have been very friendly to me since I began here. Most of the teachers are some of the best I’ve ever had, though I have had a couple problems with one in particular. The activities and programs Fontbonne provides have got to be my favorite part, though. It’s been amazing to be a member of the musicals and the choirs and many of the co-curricular clubs. I have found an avocation in music I didn’t know was even there.

Fontbonne has been a good experience. The extracurriculars are really strong and provide students with great opportunities. The school also does prepare girls for college because the workload is pretty heavy. The teachers are most of the time willing to help you and make an effort to schedule time with you if you need help. However, often times the teachers do not acknowledge that students have many other classes on their plate and assign an overwhelming amount of work. There are also occasional issues with teachers or other students. Overall, though, Fontbonne is a pretty good school for girls' education and has connected me with some of the best friends I will probably ever have.
Fontbonne Academy is a great school that teaches young women of courage self-confidence, and how to be great in the world. The bonds created with your fellow peers are so strong, you become a family over time. Many of the courses are college preperatory, and many alums have stated that the rigorous work that is given in Fontbonne has aided them in preparing for college-level studies.
