Their fine arts program is outstanding! The teachers are invested in student success. There are programs geared for the student who may not want to attend college for those who do, the programs are rigorous. The school campus is modern with state of the art technology. The one downside to this school would be with regards to transfer students from other states. As a student who transferred from IL to TX I was not made aware of the variety of program options available. I missed out on some options that may have helped me with my career/college choices.

Attending Flower Mound High School was one of the best experiences I had. It taught me so much about the real world, and prepared me for a future whether I went to college or not. The teachers really care about you, and try their best to ensure that you do not fail. Although being one of the few black students in an all white school was at first a little challening. I quickly realized that everyone within the hallways were friendly, and cared about their future as well. I will always cherish my memories at Flower Mound until the day I pass. Thank you FMHS, and GO JAGS!
I loved that all my teachers really made an effort to help each student individually and took the time to make sure that we all were taught in a way that helped us all. Having great teachers is one of the most important resources for a student to have, and Flower Mound High has done a great job of making sure all the students have access to that. One thing I would like to see more of is the increase in counselors. While our counselors are great, the sheer number of students at the school make it difficult for our counselor to get to know all of their students on a personal level. With more counselors, students can have more of a personal relationship with their counselor, which would allow a better overall high school experience in addition to meaningful recommendation letters for colleges and other programs.
