My experience throughout high school has been incredible! Flower Mound High School has over 100 courses you can apply for, including, cosmetology, baby sitting, pre law enforcement, med class, anatomy, debate, and several dual credit and AP courses. The highly competitive rigor of Flower Mound has been recognized on the national level. Our sports teams are also a force to be reckoned with. Last year, both girls and boys water polo and cross country went to the UIL state competition. Our volleyball, golf, wrestling and lacrosse teams have made consistent appearances at the state tournament, as well.
One of the more impressive attributes of Flower Mound is the beloved robotics team. In 2018, our robotics team was given the opportunity to compete at the world competition in Japan. After sweeping the national tournament, the team would soon have the same fate at the world competition, gaining them the title of "World Champions".

Flower Mound High School is overall a really, really good school. This high school is well rounded, as they excel in pretty much everything they do, academics, sports, bass fishing, robotics, theatre- you name it, they have it! They also have a lot of student run clubs that are completely formed by passionate students who want to see a change in their school so they make it happen! We have a competitive gaming club now that a student formed just because he wanted to game with his friends more! The opportunities are limitless! The staff are also the most genuinely caring group of people around and they make you feel like they really do care about the students more than the curriculum and make an effort to help out struggling children.
Overall, I think going to Flower Mound High School was a good experience! There are so many opportunities, whether it be related to arts, sports, or different interest-specific clubs. That being said, I think almost everyone that goes to this school would agree that it's pretty competitive in all aspects (the top of each class tends to take a ridiculous, overwhelming course load). The teachers range from amazing/impactful to not really caring all too much at all. Some of the student culture can get pretty toxic, but it's nothing terribly unexpected from a high school where some families may have a little too much money than they know what to do with.
