Florin High School has great diversity! For the most part, people stick up for each other and fairly caring. The academy I participated in was Law Academy. This academy was a resourceful and fun academy. Also, it helped students prepare for college by having mentors, touring colleges, and apply the law into their daily lives. The three amazing teachers, Mr. Rich, Mr. Garcia, and Mr. Jensen, gave students a welcoming and comfortable environment to learn in. Involvement is the key in having a successful high school experience. The clubs and extracurricular activities offered are Key Club, National Honors Society, Robotics, Anime, soccer, tennis, baseball, basketball, volleyball, and more.

As I am finishing my fourth year in Florin High School, I can surely state that this school is the embodiment of communal spirit. Once all the students are gathered there is no judgment nor seeking trouble, it's all a matter of "we're here and we're going to have fun". It's the use of diversity Florin High holds that's indisputable, it doesn't matter who or what you represent, we are all family and we stick together. Look beyond what troubles were brought to the table in order to shame this school as it can be easy to be blinded by the misconceptions but majority so, when the heart of the school is explored there is warmth alongside a welcoming. I ask that people's perceptions of this school changes and that the "bad" things that occur here are no different from any other school. The only difference is the togetherness of both students and staff.
What I like about Florin High School is that the environment is safe and welcoming. Some teachers are very dedicated to their job and students. The Principal does her best to keep Florin High School the safe school it is. However, Florin High School could improve by offering more hands on programs. Most pathways at Florin focuses on academic rather than experience. Also, the pathways Florin has does not support my future desired major. I would like to see new pathways focusing on the field of medicine.
