Going to a high school in a small town where everybody knows each other has its ups and downs. One benefit is, you're friends with everybody, and you never feel alone. However, going to a small school means family throughout is favored, certain students, or sports are favored. It's a win-lose situation. However, my experience here has been pretty exciting. We are a very school-spirit oriented school, and they have helped me gain a lot of friends and experience for college.
Personally I'm not someone who's hugely into sports, but if Florence High School does excel in something it's definitely their sports. They have a wide variety of sports, ranging from the run of the mill football and soccer, all the way to tennis and golf.
Unfortunately for someone who's more into fine arts, such as myself, their art department could definitely do with some work. But it is actively improving, each semester the support for the fine arts at Florence grow.

Overall, this school is a really great school. I've had cousins, aunts, uncles, and many friends who graduated from Florence High School. So, it was really nice to be apart from this tradition to Graduate from this high school. When attending to Florence High School I knew I was going to have a great day. The teachers there were always welcoming and knew how to help students. I've made a lot of friends and they will be my life long friends. Even when I was struggling on a subject, a teacher or peer would gladly help me. I really liked when they did that because it made me feel more confident with my tests and finals. Florence High School really helped me grow as a person and I did mature much better when I was there. Florence High School was a great school.
