From First Presbyterian Day School

First Presbyterian Day School is Macon's only three-time National Blue Ribbon School for Exemplary Performance. We offer an exceptional, Christ-centered academic experience for students in 3K - 12th grade. Our mission extends far beyond the classroom. We seek to educate and equip students to change the world for God's glory. That entails more than achieving high grades; that entails helping students develop a strong foundation of faith, academics, servant leadership, and healthy habits. Just as it takes more than one nail to build a house, it takes multiple Christian mentors in multiple facets of a child's development to help students become tomorrow's Christian leaders. Both of our children attended FPD since 4K. The experience is way more than just a college prep school in Christian environment. It goes beyond that. Teachers are trained to integrate biblical truths into the subject being taught. They challenge students with a rigorous curriculum, with honors and AP options - and love and support them along the way. From art, band and chorus to soccer, tennis and football to community service and missions... there are plenty of opportunities for kids to identify and develop gifts and serve others. The culture was uplifting. Even the lunches were amazing! No better investment into the lives of our kids!

FPD is a family oriented Christian school . The teachers genuinely care about the students . They are invested in teaching in the classroom but also look for opportunities to pour into the lives of the kids! FPD takes pride in its facilities and aims for excellence in everything it does. FPD is expensive so not everyone can take advantage of such a great learning experience. FPD needs to continue to work through its Advancement Department to secure resources needed to lower tuition expense and added expenses for participating in extracurricular activities.
My experience at FPD is going great! I've been going here since Pre-K. The school has so many activities. Sports, arts, theatre, and clubs. The school also is a school which prepares us for college. This school teaches me how to manage my work and after school extracurriculars around the school. It has been great going to this school and I hope to graduate from it too.
