First Creek Middle School Reviews

What I liked about First Creek was the diversity, college readiness, and overall community. As a 6th grader, I didn't know any colleges or universities except the nearby ones, but at First Creek, it was regularly insisted that the students research college and careers, which helped me a lot. There was always lots of support from faculty and we were always encouraged to excel with rigor. Many years ago, First Creek was known as the school for delinquents and future criminals. This reputation has completely changed because of the many activities and clubs started by faculty and volunteers that have involved former "problem children" in community-based services and programs in which they get to help the people around them and learn about different paths. I was always told at First Creek that with rigor, anything was possible, and that's still something I think back on all the time.

There are many needs and those needs are not met. Also, the leaders of the school need to be more involve with students in class than just sitting in the "best" classes.
terrible school, students and staff bully the kids... a teacher told my child her shoes looked like “house slippers” and told her she couldn’t wear them outside. The staff did absolutely nothing when my child was assaulted, instead them suspended her as well when she did nothing wrong.
