Our passion is to equip students with the TRUTH OF GOD'S WORD while developing their character and intellect. Children are taught to explore their unique God-given talents, create an environment of change, be challenged academically, athletically, creatively, and spiritually, and lead others towards the cross. We challenge our students in numerous ways — academically, athletically, creatively, and spiritually. At our core, we are helping children uncover and develop their God-given talents and gifts. Our eighth grade graduates are routinely admitted to some of the top high schools in the greater Houston area; and continue to perform well, both academically and socially. We focus on developing traits of great leadership—exceptional listening and communication, empathy, exploring all aspects of an issue, and being open to new possibilities. By equipping our students with these skills, we prepare them for any course in life that they may take.

Middle School at FBA

Through project-based, collaborative instruction, our teachers create a challenging environment that meets students where they are, while raising expectations and helping them achieve success. Students are given multiple leadership opportunities that allow them the ability to learn about themselves and discover their God-given talents.

FBA provides an academically challenging education in a loving Christian atmosphere. Our older two went to FBA from pre-K all the way through 8th grade. They both went on to receive hundreds of thousands in college scholarships and are thriving at UT. Our youngest has been at FBA since pre-K and she will go all the way through 8th grade. As amazing as the middle school was for the older two, I can say with all certainty that is has only improved! The teaching teams are stellar and the administration continues to offer incredible support to the faculty, as well as, the parents, as they strive to constantly improve. We wouldn’t consider sending our daughter anywhere else even though we are zoned to one of the top middle schools in the entire Houston metro area.

We love First Baptist Academy! We live in a neighborhood with some of the best public schools in Houston but started when we were pre-K and have stayed for several years so far. The private school advantages are wonderful. Much smaller class sizes than public schools, teachers who really care, easier to miss a day of school for appointments or vacation, and our child clearly is learning so much! We heard terrible stories from our friends in surrounding school districts who were greatly disappointed by their school experience, but we are loving our time at First Baptist Academy.
We love FBA! Our girls are in the Primary school program and my husband and I are confident we made the right decision for our family. The teachers are nurturing and encourage creativity, they love our girls like they are their own. They offer dance and tumbling during the school day, they have chapel weekly and come home with amazing art projects and knowledge. I highly recommend FBA!
