Ferriday High School made me the person I am today. Throughout my years at Ferriday High I went through major hardships, but with the help of my teachers and my new determination I made it through. Academically, I excelled throughout all my semesters from 9th grade to 12th grade. I loved that they taught me how to become a leader and how fun it was to be in the classes with the teachers and other students. However, they could work on being more organized for the upcoming school year.

Ferriday High School played a big part into me becoming the female I am today. Ferriday High is filled with Trojan pride , I love the fact that we all go so hard for each other. I dislike the fact how people judge the school due to certain bad experiences because Ferriday High always rises above all the bad. I also dislike how strict it is because being strict is what will drive a child to act out. However it doesn’t matter how strict Ferriday High gets , it’ll always be home. It’s still home to those who attended there once and left because they come right back due to the tight bond we have with one another.
The school is okay. However, there aren't many opportunities for students. For instance, the school system is very strict on club activities, and high impact learning opportunities, such as educational fieldtrips, etc. When I entered there as a freshman, there were about 10 clubs...however, upon graduating this year, the school only had two clubs. Not only that, but there are only three sports to choose from: football, basketball, and track. Although, even the latter aren't all that great. There tends to be a lot of favoritism within the teams, between the coaches and a few of the team members...so its always the same selection of students getting to play on the court, and/or field...sadly.
