I graduated in 2014 with excellent academic and co-curricular records at the Fern Creek High School. During my high school years, I was shy about taking to teachers and raise my concerns with education and many other important areas that had directly impacted my academic achievement. The teachers were most interactive and supportive in every possible manner. The administration did a great job in providing quality service on a timely basis . On top of that the curriculars and co-curriculars were above my expectations. I graduated with honors because of the dedication of the teachers. Great job respected teachers!

I had a positive experience with Fern Creek, my teachers were generally awesome and cared about their students. The ivy plus program is really cool and helped me figure out what kind of college I wanted to go to. The program basically helps students get into really good colleges with a lot of scholarships, if you know you'd like to go to college, I definitely recommend it. The computer science program and robotics classes are super cool too, there's a four year computer science pathway for those that are interested. There's also a lot of clubs and sports to join and it helped me make friends before school started. The biggest issue is that the school is pretty crowded and if you hadn't already heard, there've been a few incidents at FCHS. Fern Creek has a pretty bad reputation but there are some really good programs and people at FC.
Fern Creek has a very loving and supportive community, primarily concerning the teachers. It is a large school with a few different opportunities, such as a few different language classes and AP classes. Although the school has nice people and such, it is not safe. It has poor security, and the school lacks in funding. There is a door that is left open that goes into the school. Usually this is locked, but students sneak out and in by keeping objects in the door. Since there is no one going around to manage these things, it's easy for this to happen. That could lead to someone sneaking in and harming students. As for the funding, we have few sponsors. The money that we do get often goes to the primary classes and basketball team. It also goes toward the football team. It does not go towards cleaning, which is a major issue. For example, we are very short on custodians. It also does not go towards things like band. While the school is nice and encourages growth, it needs improvement.
