I like the diversity and students in Fenton. Our academics are very good, if you stay out of trouble you will be fine but if you get into trouble the teachers will never leave you alone. There is a big push for AP options and we have many fun and inclusive clubs and sports. Joining will make your school experience better. We do have helicopter teachers so they will make sure students aren't getting into trouble, however their methods and respect could be improved. There is a lot of during/before/after school help available for students as long as you are willing to look for it. We have a fairly small school with about 9 classes on the upper level.

The inclusiveness and the family like feel that the teachers provided. I was always very close with my teachers and was able to include them into things my friends and I often questioned or talked about. Although sometimes I had a tough time getting along with certain teachers, I had many that I still even talk to despite graduating last year. I appreciate the high school experience they gave me as a laid back set of teachers that pushed me to do my best the right and healthy way, through encouragement and support.
Fenton High School is a well-rounded public high school. There's an abundance of classes in each department including, science, math, English, foreign languages, engineering, music, arts, and much more. Each class has multiple resources including Bison Time, a specific time in the day for students to receive academic help extra study time. The administrators, staff, counselors, and teachers are very educated and open to going the extra mile for students. The classrooms, meeting rooms, and resource rooms have been renovated recently and provide efficient learning spaces. I have a been involved in various activities and sports all four years of being at Fenton and for the most part there is something for everyone. Overall, I'm extremely pleased attending Fenton High School, and I believe that the school has properly prepared me for college. The only things I'd wish Fenton would consider more is, more SAT/ACT prep courses and new foreign language courses such as Chinese or Italian.
