Fay School Reviews
Each of our children has thrived academically, socially, and athletically at Fay. Fay is small enough to support each student in and outside of the classroom yet large enough to support strong theater, musical and athletic programs. The classroom sizes were a key part of our decision to send our children to Fay. Our town's public school has (had?) an excellent reputation but, due to the town's rapid growth, the classroom sizes have spiraled out of control. Many prospective families are surprised to learn Fay offers financial aid (at varying levels) to families that qualify. Overall, we have found the Fay community to be very welcoming and enrolling our children at Fay has been an exceptional experience for our entire family.
My son has been a student at Fay School for 7 years and is now in the lower school. He is thriving at Fay academically, socially, and in the athletics program. I appreciate that the class sizes are small and that the faculty get to know each student as individuals and know how they learn best. We love the exposure to music, art, drama, and technology in the innovation lab. In addition to academics, Fay emphasizes and reinforces what we teach at home; good manners, responsibility, honesty, kindness and being a good global citizen. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to send our son to Fay and to be part of the community.
We have had our four kids attend or currently attend Fay School. Overall it has been a very positive experience. The administration, teachers and coaches have all had a tremendous impact on their education. They have matured and grown into well rounded students versed in different languages, musical interests as well as excelled in different sports. They take an ownership role in building a rounded student and child. Plays, musicals, speeches and poetry slams are just the beginning. Most impressive is the secondary school placement process. They work hard to help find the best fit in the best schools. You won't be disappointed.
