As much as nobody really looks forwards to going to school every weekday, I can truthfully say that FHS makes it a little more bearable. No matter who you are or what your interests are, you will always find at least one other person just like you. Not only are the students generally nice, majority of the teachers are very willing to help you and are as friendly as one could be with their students. I have not had a single negative experience at Fauquier that was the fault of the school or its staff. And if nothing else, we have the school spirit. Go Falcons!

I am a senior at Fauquier High School, and have attended the school for the entirety of my high school career. Fauquier is a tightly-knit community and the high school is no different.

Fauquier High School challenges students academically and has seen many students graduate to attend highly-accredited universities. The teachers are well-qualified, engaged, and very incorporated in student activities.

Fauquier High School's teachers, students, and parents recently adapted to a new principal, starting Fall 2019. The new principal brought upon many positive changes and the beneficial impacts may be seen by teachers and students alike.
I graduated from Fauquier High May of 2017. Personally, I had a good time there. High school isn’t at all as fun as specializing your interests in college but the overall school environment was safe and stimulating. The AP courses with duel enrollment allowed me to knock out my first year of college during high school. However, the food was either tasty nor nutritious, some (most of the non-AP) faculty dislike their jobs and that affects their work ethic and diligence, and there were only a handful of teachers I knew believed in me personally. No high school is perfect, but constantly striving to improve is also admirable.
