Farson is a great place to go to school. The community might be small, but it is very welcoming and generous. They love to participate in events and get to know the students. Small class sizes allow teachers to interact with students on a more personal level. They get to know their students interests, goals, and dreams and teach in a way that supports that. There aren't many extra-curricular activities beyond sports which makes Farson students less well-rounded. However there is plentiful passion, enthusiasm, and school spirit which can be felt year round, not only during homecoming and other school sponsored events. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking to gain not only an education but a zest for life and adventure as well.

Farson-Eden High is a good school. It’s fairly small (K-12) but I like it that way because it feels homier and comfortable. Everyone knows everyone, which to be honest isn’t great all the time. But it’s nice to see familiar faces during the day, even if you aren’t friends with everyone. The teachers want their students to succeed and are interested in their lives both in and outside of school. In my opinion, everyone is too focused on sports and not enough of academics and the future. However, the school is a safe place to be and people are more than willing to help if you ask.
Farson-Eden High School is a small school which takes pride in its students. Due to the small population, class sizes generally stay below 20 kids. This enables teachers to spend more time helping individual students. The faculty is respectful and the students tend to befriend all who join them. Sports are a major part of life here, and while there are few options of what to play, almost everyone takes part in one of the school-sponsored athletic programs.
