The teachers and staff at Faribault Senior High School are dedicated and hard-working. They always do their best to help every one of their students succeed. This school produces several valedictorians in each year's graduating class; the result of the effort both teachers and their students put in to succeed. The student body is wonderfully diverse and there is a wide variety of activities, clubs, and sports teams as well. The non-athletic clubs and activities have a fair amount of success at state-wide competitions; the opposite is true for the majority of the sports teams. Even so, there are many opportunities for athletes at all levels to improve themselves and ultimately make their respective teams more competitive. The community around the high school is extremely supportive. Many businesses and families give a lot of their time and money to make sure Faribault Senior High School runs at its optimum level and that each student has every opportunity to reach their full potential.
Faribault Senior High School offers many different opportunities for students like clubs, organizations, and events. They offer an online program and in-person schooling so students can choose who they learn best. They offer so much support for their students and they show that they truly care.
Overall, my experience at Faribault High School was fairly good but it wasn't an outstanding school to go to because there were limited opportunities there to get a head start into college and be involved in the community without having to have requirements to be apart of a group. But my senior year I'm starting to learn more about the tools and activities I can get involved in to get a feel of what college would be like and experience new things. The staff there is very nice and welcoming to every student and they make it feel like a safe space. I wish I would have gotten more involved in my early years of high school and that the counselors made sure everyone felt welcome to join and try new programs.
