During my time at Falfurrias High School, I learned many things, but the one thing I took home the most everyday life knowledge, was from the theatre department. I participated in many extra curricular activities, and found people and teachers that care so deeply about them, and learned to be passionate. The downside of this school is definitely the councilors and student advisers. They are NOT guidance counselors whatsoever, and majority of the time they had too much going on to keep up with particular students regarding ranks and gpa’s. The dress policy and overall general policies for the entirety of the school were similar to your traditional high schools, with the exception of a few swaying rules. The lunch is really a wide variety of options to chose from, none being great but hey it’s school lunch am i right? Anyways, to conclude my experience and review, I’d say it’s great for a student particularly involved with sports, but not so credible in the arts and staff area.

Falfurrias High School is filled with many amazing people. They all care for the students and wish to see them all succeed. I have loved my experience at this high school. It has given me amazing teachers, opportunities, and friendships. While being at this school I became more aware of what the real-life will be like and have taken advantage of what was offered to me. This school offers dual enrollment classes to help students to save money and time for college. I am currently a senior here and in the spring I will be graduating from high school and also be graduating with associates in science from coastal bend college. This school is absolutely amazing and I could not have asked for a better district to attend high school.
The friendships made in Falfurrias can last a lifetime. Teachers are very polite and administrators are super organized. A truly educational school!
