I recently graduated from Faith Baptist and the school was reasonably good until high school. There was little to no strength as far as college preparation — including clubs, extracurriculars, APs, Honors classes, etc. Furthermore, the whole administration visibly and undeniably treats their students differently depending on their religion. My family is not Christian, which did not allow me to run for student council and put me at a disadvantage to many opportunities. More so, I had an uncomfortable experience with the elementary school principal who was my teacher at the time. We had just begun online schooling due to COVID, and he messaged me separately through Teams at 10:00 PM asking if I found anything on the app interesting. None of my other classmates received this message. This message also had no viable purpose behind it relating to academics. In whole, the school does have its pros but is unfortunately masked by the Christian facade.
There were many things to like about my school such as the teachers, activities, and the students. My favorite thing about Faith was how they taught every subject through the Christian worldview! The teachers there really made you feel like they cared about you, the activities were always chosen to make sure the students had the most fun out of it. The special part about Faith is that their Spirit week is unlike any other! With games, a treasure hunt, and homecoming it truly brought in the school spirit and competitiveness.
We are very satisfied with quality of Faith Baptist School. Our daughter loved the school, achieved college scholarships and received several college offers. The curriculum was well balanced and kept her interested and motivated. Most of the kids at school had high moral standards, which the school encourages. I personally love that she was taught the Bible and about our Lord Jesus. Maddy built many friendships and continues their friendships into college. We are so glad we made the choice way back in her K4 year.
Thank you Faith Baptist School!
