Fair Haven Union High School gave me the stability that I had been looking for as an army brat moving all over the United States and Europe, I never had a school to belong to and I finally moved to Fair Haven in the 8th Grade and the next year became a freshman. I met my lifelong best friends on our track team and soccer team. We were the class of 2010 and we were state champions in track and field four years in a row! I have so many good memories of growing up in that small tight knit community and I wouldn't have had it any other way
This is a great school overall-the main problem is the facilities. The building is old and needs serious renovations. We don't have a stage for performances and I played in the band for four years, so I understand how much the school really needs a proper area for concerts and plays. The building is also poorly heated and rundown.
A highlight of my education at this school was my guidance counselor. In fact, the entire department is first rate. They are helpful, caring and knowledgable on everything a student needs to succeed. I can't thank them enough for all their help and support.

The School is good at making us feel connected and a community, but sometimes the school changes the rules and structure when they don’t need to. There is a sub-par arts program and the school is highly talented and competitive in athletics.
