There is some bullying but it is very rare and is always taken care of. Other than that the health and safety of students is great.
Running club is one of the main extracurricular activities. Other than that it is just a lot of sports.
I have learned a lot from attending this school; not just things like math and science, but how to have strong lasting friendships. The nice thing about this school since it is a small school you pretty much know everyone. You know everyone that attends. You get to know them on a deeper level and there are people that you grow really close to.

The way that many of the teachers teach is by using creative examples. This helps students want to engage more in the lesson; and it helps them remember more. The teachers also make sure the students understand the material; the classes are small so they are able to help the students one on one a lot.
I know each one of the teachers personally and I know that they all love the students and want the best for them. They are all about the student, all about seeing them succeed in life.
I've had kids in this school since 2001 and my oldest is graduating in a month from here. It is a good school and I am very pleased with it. I have never thought of sending my kids anywhere else.
It's a small school and lacking in some things technologically. There is parent involvement, the building is kept in good condition.
This is a Christian based school. Policies are based on the Bible, moral conduct, modest dress, looking out of the best of the child.
It's a small school, so they don't offer as much as a public school. There is however, volleyball, soccer, basketball and running. Also, yearbook is offered. Every junior high and high school students go on a school trip to Appalachian Bible College, Alpine Adventures, or The Wild's in North Carolina. There are field trips, spirit week, parents and friends group.
It's a small school, and each child is known well.
Really, there isn't much to the admissions process...a test for placement, an interview and that's about it.
