Everglades City School Reviews

Everglades City School is your average backcountry school that’d you’d expect. My experience here is as average as any other school, although it is nice walking into a classroom and only seeing familiar faces. We only have about three valuable teachers in high school, the rest are just subs and last minute fill ins. Even the other teachers recognize that they don’t teach us anything. A students education determines their future, and at first glance, that means mine is going nowhere.

Everglades City School is a quite a unique school compared to the rest of them. Whenever you pass elementary, then pass middle school, then pass high school, you don't switch to different schools. You just switch buildings. High school students walk the same halls as students in pre k. You grow up with the same people for twelve years. There's your perks and downfalls going to a school like this. You find your few friends that are you life time buddies, and the teachers help you out no matter what. The only downfall is there is not as many electives to take. My experience in this school was wonderful, I graduated with honors, a 4.02 GPA, and all the time in art I wanted. I also got to play 4 sports which was the love of my in school. I would never go back in time to change anything about my high school experience.
