While there were teachers who were kind and truly care about their student's well-being, there were plenty of issues when it came to administration and how the district would handle issues.
And of course, it's high school, it certainly had its ups and downs!
But overall my time at Everett High School wasn't one I truly treasure, unfortunately. I'll have certain friends and teachers I will miss dearly but I am ready to let go and move on. Here's to a new start!

Everett High School has many good teachers and large buildings for a beneficial learning experience. There is a handful of teachers that aren’t good, but there is plenty more great teachers. Sometimes it feels as though the admin is unnecessarily over staffed. The campus is very safe with police officers on duty outside the buildings. The school culture is improving with the efforts of Advanced Leadership. In the past, the school culture failed to be inclusive, focusing solely on recognizing athletics. Just in the past year, more people from a variety of groups around the school were recognized for their different talents.
Like every school, each school has their pros and cons. Everett High School is very open-minded, lots of communities and advocacy groups. They also have a wide variety of clubs and students are always dedicating themselves to promote change within the school. Some downfalls of Everett High School would be the administration and counselors. The counselors continually push things off until the last minute and make large decisions their bottom priority rather than their top priority. The administration time and time again fails to fully solve issues that arise and when you go to them about an on going issue or an issue regarding laws and legal issues they just sweep it under the rug.
