Right as you step into the building, Eudora High School has a very friendly community feel. Most of us students feel like a family, and our teachers feel like mentors. Athletics at EHS is also very important. We have great coaches who take time to focus not only on athletic skills, but also life skills (leadership, teamwork, humbleness, etc). Those same coaches are often also the teachers in the classroom who do an excellent job with the resources they have. Due to a lack of state funding, some materials may be badly worn, and the textbooks may be outdated, by our teachers still do a great job of teaching the material. Lately, we have been transitioning to a mainly online based curriculum, which has really helped all the students learn and retain the information better, while saving some shoulders from the pain of having to carry overly heavy textbooks. Overall, Eudora High School has been great for me, and I believe it would be great for anyone else.
I had a great time at this high school, and most of the teachers, and students are very welcoming. They offer a variety of classes, however, I feel that the electives should be expanded, and AP classes should also be offered. They do have technical education classes, however, I feel that it could be expanded or better promoted throughout the community. Overall, Eudora is a great school district.
Eudora High School has several fantastic staff members that love what they do and who they do it for. However, some staff there do not feel the same way. Overall, having attended this school for all four years of high school has been a positive experience for me.
