I love Estacado High School, or as we call it "The E"! Our small class sizes allow unique and personal relationships with our teachers. There is extracurricular opportunity galore. Our classroom material as far as classes that are not dual credit is very average and seventh-grade level material. The E offers a unique opportunity with its partnership with Texas Tech, for Estacado is an Early College High School. This partnership allows for those who take advantage of the opportunity to graduate with up to sixty college credit hours, absolutely free, courtesy of Texas Tech!
Estacado taught me many things that were very useful. I watched the school grow and improve every year in academics, sports, and teaching. I loved that all the teachers were more involved in a student’s success and that’s what made Estacado one of the best schools. The quality of education that the teachers provided was out of this world. I wasn’t just a number in the class, I was a student that my teacher knows about and I like knowing that my teachers can watch my progress. My teachers know me and I can communicate to them about anything, whether it’s about school or life-long lessons . The best experience out of my four years in high school was that I got to do everything with my friends. From the football games to prom night. My friends gave me the best experiences throughout high school. They made it more adventurous and fun. Estacado has always been a great school and they will continue to improve, nurture, and build every year.
Estacado Early College High School throughout the years have seen an immense amount of growth, especially in its academic department. EECHS is one of the only high schools in the state of Texas to be connected with a tier 1 research institution (Texas Tech University) and provides a unique opportunity for its students in the fact the they can receive up to 60 hours of college credit for free in the early college program.
