Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School Reviews
Rating 3.84 out of 5 88 reviews
During my time in high school, I thoroughly enjoyed the diverse range of academic and extracurricular opportunities that were available to me. The engaging and knowledgeable teachers fostered an environment of learning and growth, which greatly enriched my education. The friendships I formed with my peers were invaluable, creating a supportive and vibrant community. Additionally, participating in clubs, sports, and events allowed me to explore my interests, develop new skills, and create lasting memories. High school provided a platform for personal and intellectual development, leaving me with cherished experiences and a solid foundation for future endeavors.
Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School provides students with a unique opportunity to explore a field of study before graduating high school. The facilities are impressive, but the administration has gone downhill. The school is crowded, transportation is problematic, and teachers face poor treatment. There is even a walkout scheduled for next week to protest open contract negotiations between teachers and the administration. Problems between students are rarely resolved by guidance offices, rather they are typically ignored or forgotten. There is very little support in the college search or application process. Overall I had a great experience at this high school, but changes need to be made in the way the school is run.
Essex Northshore Agricultural and Technical High School overall is a great school. The technical programs are highly qualified and have the highest lines of equipment. I would recommend this high school to others whom want to pursue in the trades. The teachers at Essex Tech are supportive and helping for after school help or reviewing a simple problem. Administration is always planning special, memorable events for the students as well. I have learned through my time at this school, the importance of being in a trade. After graduation, even if not continuing the trade, you will always have that Essex Technical High School degree under your belt that can be used. According to the trade programs, seniors and juniors are able to go on cooperative education which consists of half working time, half school time. Students have the benefit of entering there field every other week and getting paid to do something they love to do.
