Most of my experience here was before the merge with the junction district, and before they cut the Family consumer and design tech ed classes. However, it was a good school in a nice neighborhood with very dedicated teachers. The assemblies were awesome and very well done.
It was middle school. It was okay. The teachers and administration are very good at paying attention to the individual needs and qualities of each student. I do think some things could be improved: the bathrooms, the lunch (though I hear that the food is much better than when I was there), the stage (its teensy)... The theater program is run by high-school students - the administration and teachers seem to value good community involvement.
I was a student between 2007-2010. Unless you're a rich kid who's parwnts work at IBM or GMC you don't belong there.
"Quiqus" are tight and nothing is fair.
If the rich kids aren't doing well academically, it's fine. They get help. If you're anyone else who needs help.. you get nothing. You just get called lazy. Nobody cares.
The only thing they care about are test scores. Unless you can can provide the stellar test scores. You get left behind.
Many years later as an adult I was diagnosed with ADHD, ASD, and 2 learning disabilities. I was there for 3 years. Nobody in my teacher team cared that I was struggling. I was just lazy, and wasn't applying myself.
They teach for Neurotypicals. Unless you're rich and get all of your work done. They don't teach for you. Or care.
Kids have claws, they'll become friends with you out of pitty. Then hang you out to dry.
