I have been in Escondido High school for the past 4 years. My experience here was one of a kind everyone fit into one place, everyone was part of the school. It was also a really positive place although our school had our ups and downs everyone was still there for each other. Everyone supported each other meaning , either encouraging you to do your best or simply just being there for you. What I like about Escondido high school was that everyone was mostly involved in some sort of club. Everyone was a part of something. Everyone had a place to be in. What I also like about our school is that the teachers and counselor where always there for you whenever you were stuck or needed help. They would always try to take out the best in everyone. They wouldn't give up on students who were struggling or falling behind. They always encouraged students to do their best. Something i would change would be probably taking things more serious and taking actions on what's more important.

This is a large school with many students, so normal class sizes can range from 15-35 students. The pep rallies are usually pretty good. There's always a guest performer. Some teachers stay after school hours to help students with tutorial, which is helpful. There's food sales twice a year where students can buy food from different vendors. Some teachers are more lenient than others with grading. The band is pretty good. Over the last two years, there's been more emphasis on college/career readiness and student involvement with clubs, sports. Our football stadium and gym are really nice. Like other schools, there's prom and homecoming that students can attend.
Escondido High School is overall like any public institution. They are many teachers willing to assist students to have comprehension of a subject or/and improvement on a particular skill. However, there is an exception of this decent description. The math program needs some improvements. Many students are falling short to understand simple concepts. Overall, the school is sufficient for college readiness; its goal is to make its students college bond. The school would track an individual if he/she is not doing the imperative assessments for the ideal college path.
