Escambia High School is a great High School all around! Escambia is a very diverse school, with excellent teachers and administration. They are very caring and understanding of their students, as well they set great examples and goals for their students. Inside and outside of the classroom, Escambia makes sure to keep all of its students on track by hosting after-school tutoring, night school, special events, reading challenges, and more.
I have been a student at Escambia High School for ongoing 4 years. I have had a good experience here, with teachers and students interacting with me in at least a decent way. I have been taught well, given opportunities to educate myself well in what I pursue, and taught in everything I need to know for college. Staff and deans were admittedly subpar, with our principle being ok-ish at best in my own personal experience. The Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp program here has been the best, giving me opportunities to learn anything I need for military service if I wished to pursue that. Overall, Escambia has been good enough of a school to successfully educate me.
I liked that the teachers tried to make the experience as fun as possible. I would like to see a change by teachers being a little more strict, enough to control students. Teachers never had enough control over the class the students would do whatever they wanted to. It would be nice if the also got new materials and repainted the classrooms. Everything else is great they make school as fun as possible while still being greatly educational and they give students great motivation.
