Ernest Righetti High School Reviews

My experience at Righetti High School has been both enlightening and disappointing. I've had the opportunity to take challenging courses and push myself to succeed with the help of some special teachers. However, I've also encountered some faculty members that don't seem to care about our education. Our teachers are supposed to help us enjoy school and find the desire to learn, not discourage us from trying our best or convince us certain subjects don't matter. I would like to see these teachers change their attitudes when they are talking to us because it doesn't make our situation better when the ones who are supposed to convince us to stay in school are doing the exact opposite.
Review Ernest Righetti High School
Ernest Righetti is a good school. When it comes to athletics they are either ok or a really strong team. With teachers you either hit or miss. It's a pretty old school some rooms don't have air conditions system so it's awful when it gets hot and you're stuck in a room with out air condition. As far as college readiness we have a great college and career center with amazing resources and information on anything you need they got you!
I wish that many things could change, being a senior in high school has showed me that the last 3 and a half years prove something. I would love to see a better administration, or answering of emails from teachers. There are a few select teachers who truly want to help their students and I'm glad I was taught by them, for they have left the hugest impact on me.
Righetti, however, doesn't feel the safest to me. We have had nearly 6 lockdowns since the time I've been at Righetti. We've been dismissed from school early because of a fake shooting, people called their parents worried they could die. A food fight that involved a cop, the cop becoming involved with a physical fight with a student.
It worries me and I hope to see Righetti changes for the better.
