What I liked most was the vibrant atmosphere filled with diversity. We had many students from many different backgrounds. Another aspect that I like was the amount of AP and honors classes that were available. I was able to leave high school with credit that propelled me into my college experience and give me the opportunity to graduate in three years instead of four! What I disliked the most about my high school was the lack of available club opportunities that were directed to what I was interested in. There were many clubs that were there to help individuals with certain circumstances, but I would have loved to of seen clubs directed towards reading or the creative arts to expand on my love for activities outside of the classroom.
Righetti High School has been a great experience for me personally! I believe the reason for that though is because Righetti provides a lot of different clubs, sports, and extracurriculars for students to be a part of. The best way to make your high school experience at Righetti a great one is by being very involved in a numerous amount of activities the school offers. I can see how ones personal experience may differ from my own when one does not take advantage of all the programs on campus. It could be a very boring four years with only classes and just going to school everyday. The teachers are adequate, they do their job and do it well, most of the time. The student body lacks in school spirit when it does not involve the football team. The school is a very safe place to get an education and students aren't left fearing coming to school day. All in all Righetti is a great place to attend school as long as you make the most out of all the awesome programs.
What I liked about Righetti was how the teachers and staff really cared about you. They really want to best for the students and want them to be successful. I wish they gave a wide variety of classes to help prepare for future jobs that they want to do. This could be coding classes, engineering classes and larger amount of AP classes. I also wish they would allow freshmen's to take AP classes as long as they preformed well the past years in middle school or a teacher recommendation.
