My overall experience at Erie High school was absolutely amazing. They are a very small school so there school spirit isn't always top notch, but for the most part they try. The teachers can vary, from the most amazing to the most boring. The teachers love to help students when they are struggling and ask for help. The staff is great, they always have a smile on their faces and they always help when it's needed. The sports can vary, the softball team is the best sport at the school but football and baseball are pretty close. All and all Erie High school will always be my home and I'll forever be a Tiger!

There is a broad range of clubs. There are obviously sports, but there's also theater and drama, MESA, chess club, Tiger Tech (tigers are our mascot), art club, LINK crew, and National Honor Society. Our Odyssey of the Mind program is especially prevalent. Most students are really committed to the programs that they're involved in. My friends and I in Odyssey of the Mind spent months perfecting our projects, and we made it to World Finals three times. Theater kids spend hours at rehearsal, while simultaneously doing homework for AP classes and bouncing between rehearsal and sports practices. Our cheer team made it to Nationals this year! Administration does their best to support all of the extracurricular activities, but lets be real, sports get the bulk of the funding.
I love my high school. The kids are all great and very welcoming. The teachers are all amazing and they really want you to succeed no matter how much of their time you take up. They really want to make sure you are ready for college so they give out pre-SATs once a semester. They also have an advisory period that you can ask questions from a teacher, to help you get ready for life outside of high school. The classes offered at Erie are really cool and something that you wouldn't find anywhere else. There are a bunch of different clubs and activity's you can sign up for. If you want to make a club you can go ahead and do that there is always someone that will help you find people to join it.
