I am currently a senior at EHS; I moved into the school out of public school in the seventh grade. While no school is perfect, Episcopal is a good school. A few things to note before going in: take advantage of all resources. It is very hard to fail out of courses because teachers will usually reach out before that point. Honestly, if you receive a failing grade it is typically to the dismay of the instructor and could have been prevented. Episcopal, all around, has good staff and faculty. We have definitely seen some terrible hires, but they left or were fired in the first year. This is not necessarily the school's fault, as the individuals were typically presenting as something they were not. Overall the experience is good, you just have to take advantage of the opportunities. Admin can be frustrating like at any school, but stand your ground and be rational with them at all times. The people truly do care about you here and make good investments into you and you education.
Episcopal High School provided me with so many opportunities that would have otherwise been unavailable to me. I am so grateful for the community of Episcopal because they wrapped me in love during a difficult time.
In August of 2016, small parts of Baton Rouge, Louisiana were heavily affected by the flooding of the Amite River. My family narrowly escaped the rising flood waters, but we came home to see over five feet of water in our home. We did not know what to do. The community of Episcopal did, though. They sent teams of 15-20 students to assist my family in gutting and remodeling our home. They even paid for quite a bit of the repairs. My family and I will be thankful for this wonderful community for the rest of our lives. Thank you EHS.

It's is most definitely a beneficial experience, as a student I enjoyed my time. My only gripe with the school was the opportunities I feel that I could've taken better advantage of had I known they were available. Otherwise, I believe it's the best school in Baton Rouge!
